The starting grid at Zandvoort is going to see a shakeup due to a couple infractions by Audi teams.
Zandvoort plays host as the penultimate round of the 2014 DTM championship season. Mike Rockenfeller has earned his maiden pole of the year for the race, but behind him, a couple drivers are facing demotion.
Edoardo Mortara is being moved to the rear of the grid after qualifying third. According to a release from DTM, the front diffuser on the car was mounted too low. Fellow Audi driver Mattias Ekstrom is facing a far less severe penalty, but a penalty nonetheless.
The two-time series champion was found to have obstructed the lap of Gary Paffett and will therefore be demoted five places on the grid. He originally qualified fourth but due to the aforementioned issue with Mortara, he will start eighth.
