All three Audi A4 STCC score points
STCC: Team KMS Motorsport scored points with all three Audi A4 STCC cars in the rain-soaked Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) finale. This allowed Audi to secure second place in the Manufacturers' Championship. Best Audi driver at Mantorp Park was Tommy Krisoffersson in fifth place. Frank Stippler and Thed Bjork finished seventh and eighth. On the slippery track, the three Audi drivers only started from 13th, 15th and 18th on the grid.
Belgian Audi Team without luck at Spa
BTCS: Jean-Francois Hemroulle and Tim Verbergt were fighting for overall victory in both rounds of the Belgian Touring Car Series (BTCS) at Spa-Francorchamps with their Audi A4 Silhouette. In both races, however, the Belgian Audi Club team was struck by bad luck just before the finish: In the first heat, Hemroulle/Verbergt dropped to ninth place due to an engine problem. In the second heat, Hemroulle ran out of fuel on the last lap while leading. They were classified in sixth place.
