Davies and Herbert win LMES title with Audi R8
Audi drivers Jamie Davies and Johnny Herbert clinched the Drivers' title in the first ever Le Mans Endurance Series (LMES) by winning the 1000-kilometre race at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium). They also gave the Audi R8 its 50th victory in a sports car race and secured the Teams' title for Audi Sport UK Team Veloqx. Seiji Ara and Rinaldo Capello from Audi Sport Japan Team Goh completed yet another 1-2 victory in a turbulent race, which saw the safety car in action on five occasions. For Pierre Kaffer and Allan McNish, the LMES finale at Spa ended prematurely after an hour following a collision with a lapped car.
Audi A4 DTM impresses in Prague
One week before the DTM event at Brno in the Czech Republic, drivers and cars competing in Europe's most popular Touring Car series presented themselves to the motorsport fans in the country's capital Prague. Among the stars were the Audi A4 DTM and Audi works driver Frank Biela. Highlight of the two-day event, which also saw the stars visit Brno, were demonstration runs around the fair grounds in Prague. Several thousands of spectators were impressed by the fast laps on a purpose-built track in the city centre - some of the lucky ones were even able to get the DTM feeling in the Audi race taxi. At the penultimate DTM race of the season, Audi driver Mattias Ekstrom could wrap up the DTM title in Brno next Sunday.

Supercopa: Peter Terting regains series' lead
Peter Terting regained the lead in the German SEAT Leon Supercopa at the EuroSpeedway. The "star of tomorrow", supported by Audi, crossed the finish line first in Saturday's wet first race, but received a 30-second time penalty for touching a competitor. In Sunday's second race, the 20-year-old fought his way through the field from 10th to 4th place. Because he scored additional points for recording the fastest laps in both races, he has now a two-point lead in front of former leader Sebastian Stahl, who retired in both races at the EuroSpeedway.
