Jean Alesi is none too pleased with some of the tactics that go on in the DTM, describing drivers' actions at the last race at N?rburgring as unscrupulous and "not very gentlemanly". The AMG Mercedes driver has previously voiced his critical opinion on the pushing and shoving that goes on, and is still not happy about it.

"I did not really have much luck in my last race because I fell victim to the somewhat unscrupulous behaviour of another driver," he told his website. "You have to admit that braking in the middle of a straight is not a very gentlemanly tactic. F1 drivers have an unspoken code of conduct which is very fair. That is not the case in DTM and sometimes it is a bit annoying."

Alesi has been frustrated by his efforts so far this season and has yet to score a podium finish, fourth being his best result. He retired from N?rburgring on lap nine and, although he didn't specify which driver he believed caused his troubles, said afterwards: "The hard attacks of some drivers are not OK. I hope this will change in the future."

However, he's putting his recent disappointments behind him and looking ahead. "Anyway, there's no point crying over spilt milk, as you say," he added. "We need to look forward. I can't wait till the next race where I will hopefully be able to consolidate. All season I have not been able to give 100% and I hope to be able to do so next time."
