Shreveport, LA- Mopar Pro Modified driver, Chip King, lost during the first round of eliminations on Sunday after qualifying in the No. 7 position for the rain-delayed 4th annual IHRA Mopar Parts World Finals held at Red River Raceway.

King opened qualifying in his Indy Cylinder Heads-sponsored Dodge Avenger R/T with a solid 6.367 at 223.50 mph. The Semora, NC, resident shook the tires during Friday's evening session and finished the first day of qualifying in the No. 12 position.
