S&W Race Cars announces involvement in 5 programs to benefit racers locally and nationally
SPRING CITY, PA-- Support and sponsorship of drag racing events can carry a company a long way, in terms of respect from the racer. S&W Race Cars envisions their involvement in five major drag racing programs as a way of giving back to the racer.
The veteran chassis company is proud to announce they will present the Northeast Division, Race of Champions at the 1999 Sears Craftsman ET Final. This race will be held a US-13 Dragway on Friday October 1.
Secondly, they have combined with Maple Grove Raceway to produce the S & W Race Cars Winner's Club program for 1999. This program awards the winners of Super and Heavy eliminator with an additional $100 bonus at each of the nineteen Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail events. To be eligible for the bonus, racers must be a Money Trail member and display a S & W Winner's Club decal.
S&W Race Cars will also be the Sponsor of the "open car" portion of the Atco Raceway Quick 16. Atco divides their Quick 16 into the Quick 8 "open cars" and the quick 8 "doorslammers".
Participation in the NHRA " Be A Winner, Be A Member" program will also take place in 1999. By submitting proof of victory and NHRA membership and address, a racer becomes eligible for a monthly drawing and the grand prize at the end of the season. Each month, from March to October, three winners in each of the NHRA's seven divisions will be chosen to receive products or gift certificates from one of the programs sponsors. This program is targeted towards the grassroots racer and offers S&W Race Cars a chance to give something back to the customers, who for 40 years, have been the backbone of their business.
S&W Race Cars also proudly announces sponsorship of the Bracket Racing USA Magazine, ET Challenge Race Series. In 1999, this series features nine events across the United States. At these events, eliminator winners will be given gift certificates from all the participating sponsors. S&W Race Cars has been with the ET Challenge Series since its beginning and is proud to renew their involvement for 1999.
"Our marketing strategy over the years has always been directed at putting something back in the racer's pockets", said S&W's Scott Weney. This program will work well with some of our other programs we will be involved with as we celebrate our 40th year of doing business."
