Lehman Racing Renews Partnership with Rydin Decal in 2004
Chicago - Lehman Racing, team of Top Fuel driver and three-time IHRA Top Fuel Champion Clay Millican, announced that it will renew its partnership with Rydin Decal for the 2004 season.
Rydin Decal and Lehman Racing have enjoyed a successful relationship for the past three years, and look forward to a prosperous fourth season together. Rydin will serve as an associate sponsor to the team in its full International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) season with Team Werner/Lehman Racing, as well as the team's limited National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) schedule of at least eight races with Team 104+ Performance Additives/Lehman Racing.
"It is wonderful for our company to partner with Lehman Racing and Clay Millican once again," said Rydin Sales Manager Jessica Burnett. "We are excited to be aligned with the winningest Top Fuel team in IHRA history, and to be a part of their fourth title defense."
Rydin Decal is based in Wood Dale, Ill., and specializes in printing parking permits, racecar contingency decals, parking hangtags, bumper stickers, signs and labels. Through its partnership with Lehman Racing, Rydin Decal hopes to utilize the team's relationships and reputation to expand its market share throughout the drag racing community.
"Rydin Decal has not only been an excellent partner to Lehman Racing, but the company is the only production decal manufacturer that supports drag racing," said Lehman Racing President and Team Owner Peter Lehman. "We hope to continue assisting Rydin Decal with their efforts to become the racing industry's first choice in adhesive products."
The team will open its season and its title defense at the IHRA Amalie Oil Texas Nationals in San Antonio, Texas, on March 26-28. In last year's inaugural event, Millican set a new IHRA Top Fuel elapsed time record with 4.591, becoming the first IHRA driver to ever go down the quarter mile strip in the 4.5-second range. It marked the first of his 10 wins in the 2003 season.
