Las Vegas -- National Performance Center is set to raise the stakes for competitors at The Strip this season.

When Import and Street division drag racers line up at The Strip, they'll have an extra incentive to reach the finish line first.

National Performance Center, presenting sponsor of the E.T. Bracket racing series at The Strip, will post a $200 first prize and $100 second prize each weekend throughout the season in both divisions.

To become eligible for the contingency prize money competitors must sign up at National Performance Center, located at 1703 East Charleston Blvd. After completing the form, racers will be given two National Performance Center stickers that must be displayed on both sides of their race car.

Import racers will compete for the prize money as part of Friday Night Drags at The Strip beginning this weekend. The event is also host to High School bracket racing with an open test-n-tune.

Street division drag racers will return to The Strip as part of E.T. bracket racing May 27.
