RADIAC FALLS SHORT IN QUALIFYING FOR QUICKEST EVER PRO MODIFIED PROGRAM

BUDDS CREEK, MD-- The Maryland International Dragway racing surface proved to be too tricky for Pro Modified racer Mitchell Stott to navigate when he needed to the most. The Radiac sponsored, driver was forced to abort his final qualifying attempt during the Maryland Lottery Night Of Fire at the President's Cup Nationals.

Stott's best lap of the weekend came during the third session when he piloted the nitrous-injected, 1995 Lumina to a 6.578/213.20 that was 5th alternate going into the final session.

To say that the Mill Spring, N.C., based driver is disappointed with this performance would be a gross understatement.

"I am not pleased with this at all," explained Stott. "We could have done better, but there were times when I had to make judgemental decisions as to lift and I felt doing such a thing was in our best interests. There will be other days and more races and the Radiac Lumina will be back."
