Where is Sam Sunderland? Apparently, he doesn't even know.
Sam Sunderland led the field of 160 bikes into the second day of Dakar action, but things have gone awry for the KTM factory rider.
The last official reporthad him 10km outside the route, but after two hours of riding aimlessly, he's found his way back on course. He still has 70km left to go though, losing a massive amount of time in his escapade.
Fellow KTM rider and Dakar favorite Marc Coma suffered a flat tyre, having to nurse the bike home for the final 60km and losing 12 minutes himself.
