The crew members entered in the 2010 Dakar for the new JMB Stradale Off Road crosscountry racing team are Guilherme SPINELLI -- Filipe PALMEIRO, Orlando TERRANOVA -- Pascal MAIMON, Nicolas MISSLIN -- Jean Michel POLATO, and the last newcomer, Carlos SOUSA.

Since yesterday, Sunday, November 22nd, the agreement between Stradale Off Road and the Portuguese driver, Carlos Sousa, has been closed!

"It was not easy to finalize all the agreements", admits Nicolas Misslin, the CEO of Stradale Off Road, "but I must say that the team which we have been able to make is worth all the efforts!" With Dominique Serieys, the previous General & Sports manager of MMSP, who has come back to help the new team as my advisor, we are working hard along with the rest of the team to save our technology center and the knowhow of the personnel. He has been of great help and advice concerning the way to proceed and approach the cross-country market. We now must place all of our efforts to satisfy our clients and be able to realize a good Dakar.

The Argentina -- French tandem, Terranova and Maimon will drive their first Dakar together this year. Pascal Maimon's experience as a professional cross country co-driver comforts the Argentina driver: "For my second participation in the Dakar Rally, I chose to join the JMB Stradale Off Road team for their knowledge, experience, and reliability. Racing in my native country, I'm striving for results and since the beginning of my negotiations with this team, I feel at home and in complete confidence."

After a first experience on the 2009 Dakar, driving a Pajero MPR 13, the Brazilian, Guilherme Spinelli will enter this year's Dakar driving a Racing Lancer with the Portuguese co-driver, Filipe Palmeiro.

As for Carlos Sousa, who has not yet finalized an agreement between two possible co-drivers for the 2010 Dakar, he comments "I'm looking forward to the start of the race in Buenos Aires and hope that the 15 days of racing will be as intense as in the past. I took time to decide whether or not I should enter the Dakar but in the end I could not see myself following the race on TV!! It's such a rich experience to participate in this rally that I preferred to join the JMB Stradale Off Road team to drive one of their Racing Lancer vehicles. It's a very good car and I hope to obtain good results, behind the factory team cars, by the regularity of my driving and my competitive spirit."

The rendezvous is given in Buenos Aires for the technical and administrative scrutineering with the JMB Stradale Off Road team on December 30th, 2009!
