Five competitors from the OPEL Racing Team, MOL Dakar Team and the Szalay Dakar Team, collectively, have finished the 2007 Dakar Rally!

Out of our five bikers Ivan Jakes and Janos Desi had technical problems, due to which they had to give up. The other three competitors, however, made it to the end with great results! Jaroslav Katrinak finished within the lead as 9th, Peter Katai got to be 20th, while Emanuel Gyenes made it to be 46th!

The Szalay - Bunkoczi duo had some temporary troubles with engine of the OPEL Antara, but by the second half of the competition they managed to leave those problems behind and finish as 35th, due to the great stage results in the past few days.

The MAN race truck unit - the Darazsi-Lakloth-Szalai trio - kept moving ahead with great confidence and at a uniform pace. This way it wasn't a big surprise that they were the best among the Hungarian units, ranked 17th.

Master quartet ?!
...a bit of curiosity! The Szalay - Bunkoczi duo had finished the Dakar Rally for the 4th time, together with this year's. Laszlo Bunkoczi is the one and only competitor in the world who has finished the race four times in a row, being a "novice". (His first Dakar was four years ago)

CONGRATULATIONS for his great achievement!!!
