Ilmor Racing Engines in conjunction with the Snap-on Stars of Karting Performance Racing Industry All-Stars Karting Classic are pleased to donate $500 to two selected charities of choice to the Karter and Masters division pole winners from the December 11th All-Stars Karting Classic.

Receiving a donation check from Joel Miller and Ilmor Racing Engines will be the Racing for Kids charity while the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America will receive the same amount from Scott Speed.

Speed out qualified 22 other drivers including eventual race winner Jay Howard and Indy 500 champions Buddy Rice and Dan Wheldon. The Red Bull pilot in the NASCAR Sprint Car Series turned a solid 17.672 second lap in qualifying to claim the pole by .026.
