RICHMOND, VA ^Ö The 13th annual Richmond International Raceway-Henrico County Golf Invitational held on September 5 raised more than $38,000 for Special Olympics Virginia. The tournament was held at the Dominion Club in Glen Allen as the kick-off to the NASCAR tripleheader weekend at Richmond International Raceway.

More than 100 golfers attended the event that brought together area business leaders, county officials, NASCAR drivers and members of the media.

Richmond International Raceway President Doug Fritz and Henrico County Economic Development Authority Executive Director Fred Agostino will present Special Olympics Virginia President Ricky Jeffrey with a check for $38,400 at the Henrico County Board of Supervisors public meeting on Tuesday, November 13.

The Richmond International Raceway-Henrico County Golf Invitational has raised more than $330,000 in 13 years for several Henrico County charities.
