Australian GT Championship leaders, PR Technology are giving motorsport fans a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes of their Brookvale workshop this Saturday, 20 June from 10am.
For just a $10 booking fee that will be donated to Sydney's Children's Hospital at Randwick, guests will be able to get up close to David Wall's Australian GT Championship leading Porsche GT3 Cup S along with some of the other fine race cars PR Technology have built and developed over the years.
Guests will also have the opportunity to have a go in the PR Technology simulator with prizes given to whoever sets the quickest lap.
PR Technology will have a gearbox and an engine on display in the engine room and will have a car setup on the wheel alignment gear and corner weights demonstrating how the adjustments can influence the cars handling. They will also go through some common and some not so common modifications performed to the suspension and the effect they have on the cars handling.
Guests will be taken on a detailed look through the machine shop and fabrication area with PR Technology running through a roll cage fabrication, an engine being machined and some other specialised fabrication projects highlighting the parts prototyping and development that occurs in the workshop on a daily basis.
How PR Technology's maintenance of David's Porsche compares to regular road car maintenance will also be explained, as will the steps you can take to ensure your vehicle is kept at the highest possible standard at all times.
The PR Technology team will be on hand throughout the tour to answer any questions guests may have and the tour will be finished off with a rigorous and in depth look at the beer on tap in the in house beer chilling facility.
PR Technology will also be putting on a sausage sizzle and soft drink spread for guests.
Tickets for the day can be booked ahead and are only available through the Porsche Club NSW.
