IRWINDALE SPEEDWAY - The 19th Annual Literature Faire & Exchange is set for Sunday June 24 at Irwindale Speedway. A wide array of private vendors will have automotive literature, books, magazines, posters, programs, photos, brochures, memorabilia, and collectibles up for sale.

"All the preparations have been made," said Harold Osmer, Director of the Southern California Chapter of the Society of Automotive Historians (SAH), "This is our third year at Irwindale Speedway with our traditional last-Sunday-in-June date and things are running smoother than ever."

Hours: 7AM to 1PM.
General Admission and Parking are FREE
No cars or parts (clean or dirty) allowed for sale
Limited number of vendor spaces available at the door

"We outgrew the parking lot at Pasadena City College several years ago and Irwindale Speedway stepped right up," continued Osmer, "This year we will have nearly 150 vendor spaces sold, that's 50 more than could fit at PCC and we get to use the shade of the grandstand as well as the restrooms."

The Society of Automotive Historians is a nationwide non-profit organization dedicated to the research, publication, and preservation of automotive history. A Southern California Chapter formed in 1981 with members trading research material between themselves. The Literature Faire & Exchange was started as an annual fund raiser with proceeds being donated to regional research collections, museums, and other automotive-related centers.
