MONTEREY, Calif. (April 19, 2007) -- Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Special Reserve, and The Print Network (the preferred print provider of Grand-Am) are giving fans an opportunity to pedal through the corkscrew for the Sunset Bicycle Ride on Saturday of the U.S. Sports Car Invitational delivered by Luggage Express May 18-20. The special ride is included in the price of a two-day admission ticket, with a portion of the ticket donated to Camp Boggy Creek and the Laguna Seca Raceway Fund.

The ride will take place on Saturday, May 19 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the famed 2.238-mile road course. A host of Rolex Sports Car Series drivers, including Max Papis, Darren Law, Randy Ruhlman, Andy Lally and Craig Stanton are scheduled to lead the tour.

Camp Boggy Creek is a year-round camp for children ages 7-16 who have chronic or life threatening illnesses. The camp, one of Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Camps, allows children whose lives have been a series of medical procedures and hospital stays to enjoy traditional camp activities as just a "kid." Surrounded by other campers "just like them" they escape the loneliness and isolation they may feel the rest of the year. No child or family pays to attend the family weekends or weeklong summer sessions. Camp Boggy Creek is solely supported by contributions and donations from individuals, corporations and foundations and is a proud charity of Grand American Road Racing.

The Laguna Seca Raceway Fund was established as a 501.3C Corporation with the objective of raising funds to finance future improvements to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca was built 50 years ago by a not-for-profit volunteer organization, SCRAMP (Sports Car Racing Association of the Monterey Peninsula) and has been run ever since by that same organization. Without the deep pockets of an owner, the Laguna Seca Raceway Fund raises money for improvements and upgrades that benefit both competitors and race fans.

To register to ride, simply purchase a two-day ticket for the U.S. Sports Car Invitational delivered by Luggage Express, either on-line at www.laguna-seca.com or by telephone at (800) 327-SECA. Once on-site, simply register at 6:00 p.m. near Turn 5 in the lakebed area at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The track will be open for bicyclists to ride at their own pace for one hour.

Helmets are required for the Sunset Bicycle Ride.

The U.S. Sports Car Invitational delivered by Luggage Express features the Grand-Am Rolex Series and some of the largest race fields of the season in the Grand-Am KONI Challenge Series and the SCCA Pro Racing SIRIUS Satellite Radio Mazda MX-5 Cup.

Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca was built in 1957 and has been operated since its inception by the Sports Car Racing Association of the Monterey Peninsula (SCRAMP). SCRAMP is a not-for-profit corporation that donates net proceeds from each race season to the volunteer organizations that help put on the events at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Last season alone, SCRAMP donated over $400,000 to local charities and civic organizations.

Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca celebrates its 50th Anniversary in 2007 with a world-class racing schedule including the U.S. Sports Car Invitational delivered by Luggage Express featuring the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series May 18-20, the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix July 20-22, the 34th Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races presented by Toyota August 17-19, the AMA Superbike Championship September 15-16 and the Monterey Sports Car Championships featuring the American Le Mans Series October 19-21.
