February 26 "Fun at Fastimes" 3-Hour Karting Enduro to benefit USAC Benevolent Foundation.

The USAC Benevolent Foundation, which affords benefits to needy USAC racers and their families in times of need, will benefit from a 3-hour Karting Enduro scheduled February 26 at Fastimes Indoor Karting in Indianapolis, Ind.

"Fun at Fastimes" continues a tradition started in 1997 featuring USAC race drivers and fans teaming up for three hours of go-kart competition and lots of fun.

Participants submit bids for team memberships, then 10 teams are formed, each with two USAC driver co-captains. Drivers scheduled to compete in this year's event include Cole Carter, Dane Carter, Kent Christian, Dave Darland, Bobby East, Tony Elliott, Ted Hines, Shane Hollingsworth, Michael Lewis, Critter Malone, Brad and Justin Marvel, Johnny Parsons, Brandon Petty, Billy Puterbaugh and J.T. Stapp.

Former winning co-captains of the race have included Tracy Hines and Kevin Besecker (1997), Ted Hines and Tony Elliott (1998), Stevie Reeves and Johnny Parsons III (1999), Dave Darland (2000), Ted and Tracy Hines (2001), Bobby East and Dickie Gaines (2002) and Ted and Tracy Hines again last year.

Entry fees are $600 per team or $100 per individual and can be submitted to Bill Marvel, c/o USAC Benevolent Foundation, 4910 W. 16th Street, Speedway, IN 46224.
