11th annual JFR Holiday Car Show Brings Joy to Kids of SoCal
YORBA LINDA, CA (December 1, 2008) --- The holiday season is right around the corner and once again John Force Racing will be giving back to Southern California with the 11th annual John Force Holiday Car Show. Started in 1997 the Holiday Car Show has gotten bigger and better every year. The car show will continue to benefit California Highway Patrol's "CHiP's for Kids" Toy Drive.
Last year John Force Racing received over 8,000 unwrapped toys and this year JFR's goal is to equal that number this year and maybe even reach 10,000 toys.
The Holiday Car Show is December 7th at the John Force RaceStation store right beside the JFR shop in Yorba Linda. It will start at 10 a.m. and wrap up at 4 p.m. To get in for free bring a new $10 unwrapped toy. There will be tours of the race shop and museum all day. Fans will be able to see thousands of John Force's personal collectibles, trophies, and race cars
It's a car show so there will be hundreds of street rods, muscle cars, antiques, classics, motorcycles, trucks, boats and most importantly race cars. The featured vehicles will include Ashley Force's Pink Rookie of the Year Ford Mustang Funny Car, Jay Leno's 'Jet Cadillac,' Chip Foose's 'HemisFear,' 1934 Dodge "Crazy Junk" Truck, a very rare -- Play Car (Only 97 were produced!), Barbie's 'Pink Hummer,' all types of convertibles of All Types and antique fire trucks on display.

All the JFR drivers will be there signing autographs on the celebrity stage including John, Ashley, Brittany, and Courtney Force. Funny Car drivers Robert Hight and Mike Neff will also be more than happy to give fans an autograph or pose for a picture. In addition to the drivers Tom "Mongoose" McEwen, car designer Chip Foose, ESPN's "Queen of Cars" Genevieve Chappell and country star Peter Brandon.
Fans may not have heard of Peter Brandon Peter is an Orange County native who released his self-titled debut album in 2004 and his new CD, Drive Real Fast, features songs like, Drive Real Fast, This I Promise You, R U Ready, Dreams, and I Can't Fight the Fire.
Peter has opened for many national acts touring through Southern California including David Allen Coe. His concerts are energetic, heartwarming and filled with family friendly, uplifting songs.
The Answer will be performing great classic rock tunes live on the main stage.
There will be vendors on site doing all kinds of great things plus IN & OUT Burgers will be there. It will be a full day of family fun for kids and grown-ups of all ages.
