Jeff Gordon and Robbie Loomis Are on Track for Charity
(April 15, 2005 -- Charlotte, NC) NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon and crew chief Robbie Loomis of the No. 24 DuPont team will host a raffle with proceeds benefiting the designated charities of The Jeff Gordon Foundation.
Five raffle winners will each receive "Lunch for 4 Guests with Jeff Gordon and Robbie Loomis" on September 7, 2005 at the No. 24 race shop. The raffle package will include photo and autograph opportunities along with a behind the scenes VIP tour of the No. 24/48 race shop.
"I'm very excited about this unique opportunity to raise funds for The Jeff Gordon Foundation," said Jeff Gordon. "Many children throughout the United States will benefit from this raffle through the various charities the foundation supports."
Raffle tickets are available for $25 each. Tickets purchased directly benefit The Jeff Gordon Foundation; a non-profit organization established in December 1999 by Jeff Gordon that benefits The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Marrow Foundation in partnership with The Hendrick Marrow Program and Riley Hospital for Children. The Foundation is dedicated to help support the physical, social and intellectual needs of children and their families throughout the United States.
