(DEARBORN, Mich., Oct. 1 2003) - Along with tens of thousands of race fans, Dale Jarrett's No. 88 NASCAR Winston Cup Taurus will again wear the pink ribbon of breast cancer awareness in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Race Fans for a Cure®.

For this weekend's Banquet 400 at Kansas Speedway, the 7½" x 14" Race Fans for a Cure® decal will replace the Ford Credit decal behind the "88" on both sides of the car. Race Fans for a Cure® is a charitable initiative which benefits the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and is sponsored by Ford Credit.

The Race Fans for a Cure® display trailer and No. 88 ribbon show car will be at Kansas Speedway Friday-Sunday, October 3-5. Race Fans for a Cure® will be in the Display Midway, behind the turn four grandstands, and will be open from 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m. on Friday, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, and 7:30 a.m.-12 p.m. on Sunday.

The display will offer information about the Komen Foundation and its mission to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening and treatment, and is equipped to accept donations from fans. All proceeds go to the Komen Foundation to support the fight against breast cancer through funding of innovative research and community-based outreach programs.
