Indianapolis, IN: Treadway-Hubbard Racing will donate $10 to the American Red Cross for every race lap completed by the Treadway-Hubbard Racing entries driven by Indy Racing League Rookie of the Year, Felipe Giaffone, and teammate, Rick Treadway, in Saturday's Chevy 500.

IRL officials chose to race an abbreviated schedule at the Texas Motor Speedway this weekend in lieu of recent events in New York and Washington. The team hopes to promote the American Red Cross and support its efforts to help all of those still in need.

"Our hearts go out to the victims and their families of the terrible ^tragedy of September 11," said Diana Hubbard, co-owner of Treadway-Hubbard ^Racing. "I'm glad we can make this contribution to the cause. I also ^hope that everyone involved will be comforted in their time of need."

Giaffone will be driving the #21 Hollywood G-Force/Oldsmobile/Firestone Indy car, and Treadway will be driving the #5 Big Tex Trailers G-Force/Oldsmobile/Firestone Indy car. Both cars will feature an American Red Cross decal, and Treadway's car will be marked with American flags.

On behalf of Treadway-Hubbard Racing, our thoughts and prayers are with all of the victims of the recent terrorist attacks, their families, rescue workers, and all military called to duty. God Bless America.
