High-Speed Father's Day Card

Father's Day is fast approaching and there is always the concern of what to get dad for this special occasion. From a simple tie to a more exquisite gift like golf clubs, children are always scrambling for a way to say "I Love You" to their father. But have you ever thought about thanking your dad at 120mph?

Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup race car driver, David Richert, is offering a very unique opportunity for children to pass on a message to their dads. It is not only a special way to express gratitude to your father, but it will also put smiles on many faces at the Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Richert is providing the public with an opportunity to purchase a heart-shaped decal and write a special Father's Day greeting on it. Each of these hearts and messages will then be placed on Richert's race car for the EMCO Gears Classic at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on the Father's Day weekend (June 19-21).

All proceeds from the sale of each heart decal will go directly towards purchasing gifts (such as boardgames, crafts, etc) which will be delivered by Richert to the kids at the Nationwide Children's Hospital on Friday, June 19th, just prior to the race weekend.

"Each heart sells for only $50 and the initial response has been fantastic.." states Richert, "-- between the business community and citizens in Columbus I hope there will be too many toys for me to carry into the hospital by myself".

So if you're looking to put a smile on not only your dad's face this Father's Day, but also on the faces of many children, you can contact David Richert Racing at info@richertracing.com.

Hopefully there will be a car covered in messages at the track and a room full of toys at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
