Trenker Still Strong after Second Leg on 2005 UAE Desert Challenge

Dubai - on 11th of November 2005: Sadafco DHL TT Racing Dubai based moto rider Tim Trenker still strong with his suspension problems after the two special stages second leg of 2005 UAE Desert Challenge.

The 391 km second leg contains 134 km & 209 km special stages, Trenker suffered with his new suspension setting on his bike forced him to drop on the overall standing & lost his marathon category leads after his six minutes time penalty.

Trenker, who won the 2004 Qatar Baja & marathon category on 2004 UAE Desert Challenge said that he would go for top ten finishes on the next three days with no big time difference with other moto riders on front.

Frenchman Cyril Despres still hold the lead ahead of Spaniard Marc Coma & his country home & teammate David Casteu, UAE's Khaled Khamis was the fastest on the second leg, but with eleven minutes time penalty drop to fourth place, more than four minutes behind the overall leader.

On Cars Frenchman Stephane Peterhansel still on form towards to win, with over 1:30 hours affront of nearest rival, Spaniard Jose Luis Monterde hold second place after the absence of Peterhansel teammate Juan Roma regarding illness before second leg forced him not to start the leg. The Liberty Duo Yehia Belhili & Ahmed Bin Souqat hold third & fourth with their solid performance, and Mark Powell remains fifth.
