A Good Start for Trenker on 2005 UAE Desert Challenge
Sadafco DHL TT Racing & Top UAE Moto entrant German Moto rider Tim Trenker made a good start on the prologue stage of the 2005 UAE Desert Challenge.
Trenker finish the stage on the forty seventh place, just 21 seconds behind the winner Spaniard Marc Coma who won the stage ahead of three times Desert Challenge winner Frenchman Cyril Despres with Spaniard Jurdi Duran third ahead of countryhome Pau Soler & Frenchman David Casteu.
Trenker did not pushing hard after found slippy track on the spectacular stage affront of Ibn Batuta mall in Dubai televised live on many national & international TV & radio channels, and coverage focused on Trenker, who led the local teams on 2004 UAE Desert Challenge.
On Cars section Frenchman Stephane Peterhansel won the stage ahead of teammate Spaniard Juan Rona with local heros Ahmed Bin Souqat & Yehia Belhili finish respectively third & fourth.

The rally goes on with first leg from Abu Dhabi, the capital city of UAE toward to Moreeb hill bivouac on 280 km special stage.
