PHARAONS RALLY 2010

Plenty of novelties for this 13th edition of the Pharaons Rally, which gets back in FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies. The entry fees have been averagely reduced by 20% in order to facilitate all pilots. Stages are six, but the total chilometres are the same.

TORINO -- Accomplished the beaurocracy of the competent Federation, the Pharaons International Cross Country Rally has been finally re-inserted in the Bike World Cross Country Championship. The JVD International race gets this year to its thirteenth edition, a long way along which the Pharaons Rally has become in its full right the most important and most attended rally after the Dakar.

The most significant news of 2010 edition is being back to the FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies calendar, the right acknowledgement for the Italian organization that has been able to mix all needed ingredients to build up a successful race and has set the Pharaons into being a challenge capable to fullfil the demanding taste of the great champions and keeping at the same time into consideration also the amateurs needs.

From October 2nd to 10th we then feature a new challenge over the Egyptian sand, through different deserts and oasis still linked to ancient traditions. The Giza Pyramids depart is the usual great moment which traditionally accompanies the "start" of the Pharaons Rally.

JVD is preparing a track up to it, with much nice sand and beautiful bivouacs where to find the small and big comfort to which pilots are used, combined with kindness and availability of the organization staff.

The winning formula of the Pharaons Rally is simple and it's a diverse mix: we in Jvd have the pilot point of view when proposing the most enjoyable things, the most spectacular tracks, if possible the less dangerous, while reducing to the least transfers.

SIX LEGS IN THE EGYPTIAN DESERT

In order to face the FIA complex technical scrutineering of World Cup, JVD has scheduled two days on October 2nd and 3rd . This takes to reduce the stages of 2010 edition to six, instead of the usual seven. But this does not mean that Pharaons track is shorter or less interesting, as chilometres will not vary much being around three thousands. There are instead some legs quite challenging for pilots and probably make them happier to climb the podium at the Pyramids.

FEES REDUCED BY 20%

In a not easy moment for the world economy and also for the off road rallies, JVD ha made up its mind to meet pilots also on the cost field. Thanks to agreement with different suppliers, Pharaons 2010 is going to cost averagely 20% less. An important reduction which confirms once more the JVD will to make the Pharaons Rally more accessible. As an example, a pilot can register at the rally with a total budget of 5,500 Euro including flights, hotel, devices and bike transportation. An opportunity not to be missed!
