Busch will have to wait for his first win of 2015
2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Kevin Harvick took home the win after dominating at Fontana, to start off this weekend the right way.
One particular track where KBM has dominated is Martinsville Speedway, the home of Saturday’s Kroger 250.
Harvick will attempt to sweep NASCAR’s three-race West Coast.
Based on Saturday’s practice, a victory for Kurt Busch is not out of the question.
Until Harvick’s victory at Las Vegas, no driver had finished six straight races in the top two since Jeff Gordon accomplished the feat in 1996.
Gordon makes his final tour around the speedways that are home to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
Joey Logano posted the fastest pole-winning speed at the 1.54-mile intermediate track (194.683 mph) since Carl Edwards ran 194.690 in qualifying for the fourth race of the 2005 season.
