Experience the Ride of Your Life at the 2010 Bathurst 12 Hour Event
Bathurst specialist and V8 Supercar driver, Nathan Pretty will give car enthusiasts a chance to experience the ride of a lifetime in a Holden Commodore race car at the Bathurst 12 Hour Showroom Enduro February, 2010.
The "Pretty Roar V8 Experience" is a Holden Commodore race car specially engineered to cater for passenger rides and fitted with three passenger seats. The car is powered by a 6.0 litre LS2 V8 engine topped with a PWR Supercharger, producing a V8 Supercar-like 450kW and 650Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0~100km/h in approximately four seconds.
Nathan Pretty has run the Pretty Roar Experience for the past 3 years and believes with only 48 spots available, interested parties should get in early as it's a chance not to be missed.
"It's a once in a lifetime experience. You don't often get a chance to do a lap around Bathurst at 60km p/h let alone the speeds that a V8 Supercar can do," explained Pretty.
"The majority of participants can't talk after the ride. They are just all smiles and are in awe of what a race car can do," said Pretty.
The Pretty Roar V8 Experience will run one day only over the weekend from 11am, Saturday, 13th February 2010 and costs $400, which includes Corporate Hospitality tickets to the 12 Hour Club, a certificate and commemorative photo, entry to the circuit and corporate suite for Saturday, 13 February 2010.
You can bring a friend to watch and spend the day in the 12 Hour Club for an extra $150 per person.
To purchase tickets contact Danielle Ballinger at the Bathurst Regional Council on 02 6333 6158.
The Bathurst 12 Hour Showroom Enduro is now in its 4th year, with a grid of over 50 cars expected to compete. The race features production cars in a class structure representative of the mass road going market. BMW, Mitsubishi, Ford, Holden, Nissan and Subaru are expected to compete for outright honours, while an Alternative Energy class is open to diesel, hybrid and LPG entries.
The Event will be televised in a 3 hour special on the SEVEN Network, through Fox Sports, New Zealand and other International Markets.
