Drama filled hour at Mount Panorama

There was plenty of drama during the fifth hour of the WPS Bathurst 12 Hour Showroom Enduro at Mount Panorama.

Early in the hour Bob Pearson made heavy contact with the wall at the Falken Elbow aboard his ProDuct Mitsubishi Evo X bringing about a lengthy safety car period.

Shortly after the restart Jim Hunter and Glyn Crimp made contact exiting ARMOR ALL Park which resulted in Hunter's Subaru colliding front on with concrete barrier and causing significant damage.

The clean up of the incident resulted in another lengthy safety car period. At the restart Rod Salmon leads overall ahead of Trevor Symonds and Brad Jones.

The Holden Sportwagon entry spent the majority of the hour in the pit area as the crew repaired a clutch issue.

The leaders have now completed 92 laps.
