Cartridge World Carbon Zero Racing prepare to travel south to meet the challenge of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship 's (BTCC) fastest circuit, Thruxton in Hampshire.

Adam Jones said "Thruxton is a tough place to come for the teams, cars and drivers, and we are all working on improving the cars to give us some strong top ten finishes over the three races. We feel we have prepared well but this is racing and anything can happen."

Dan Eaves

"It seems like a long time since the first round, we have changed a few things on the car since then, to suit Thruxton and hope that they enable us to build on the performances at Brands. It will be great to be back, last time I was at Thruxton I won all three races, the circuit suits my driving style so I'd like to think I could surprise a few people, and bring the car home in the points against some tough opposition."

Record breaking Dan Eaves remains the only driver to have won all three races during a race weekend.

It's nearly three weeks since the opening round at Brands when the team had both cars coming home in the top ten in all three races, with strong performances from both drivers.

With good results from Brands, the team will be looking for similar performances at Thruxton, however the circuit presents different challenges which are being addressed by the technical team and implemented by the mechanics at the team's Rugby base.

Cartridge World Carbon Zero Racing in conjunction with co2balance, the team's award winning carbon offset partner, is delighted to be able to offer ALL fans travelling to the circuits by car, an opportunity to follow the lead set by the team and offset your own car's CO2 emissions.

All you have to do is enter how many miles you will be driving (return) and the engine size and type of the car, and using co2balances "carbon calculator" it will work out the carbon emissions your journey will produce.

You can then select which carbon offsetting project you wish to support, to neutralise your carbon footprint and become a carbon zero driver.
