Snetterton BTCC: Shedden takes last lap win in restarted race
Team Dynamics' Gordon Shedden snatched a dramatic last lap win from West Surrey Racing's Rob Collard in the final race at Snetterton to round off a frantic day's action, with Rob Austin taking a maiden podium for Handy Motorsport in third.

After climbing to second on lap three, Shedden's Honda was closing on the BMW for the remainder of the shortened 10 lap race, before spending large parts of the final lap just millimetres apart.
Shedden passed Collard at Agostini and the pair were side-by-side through Hamilton, before Collard ran off onto the grass and made contact with Shedden at Oggies.
The Scot was able to correct the slide and keep the lead, before getting a huge slide on out of Nelson and allowing Collard back onto his tail.
He did enough to take the flag 0.525s to the good, with the result nonetheless good enough to promote Collard to the championship lead, three points ahead of non-starter Sam Tordoff and six clear of Team Dynamics' Matt Neal.
Austin held his nerve in a fierce battle with Team BMR's Jason Plato to finish on the podium, with Motorbase Performance's Andrew Jordan pipping Colin Turkington to fifth.
Adam Morgan, Aiden Moffat, Josh Cook and Neal rounded out the top 10 in a breathless encounter.
After the first running of the race was red flagged due to a scary startline crash, previous championship leader Tordoff was dealt a cruel blow when his propshaft failed on the lap to the grid.
At the start, Plato took the lead from Collard and Ingram before Mat Jackson made contact with Morgan, pushing him into Ingram and causing both cars to drop down the order.
Collard swiftly made his move, passing Plato at Williams on lap two after a small mistake from the Subaru driver.
And the disappointment continued for Plato, when Jackson passed him on lap three. Shedden the made contact with the Levorg before passing, in a move which also let Austin through.
Unfortunately for Jackson, his Ford Focus then slowed to a halt on the Bentley Straight when it had looked like he was set to take a clean sweep of podium finishes.
The action remained unusually static for several laps, before Collard and Shedden restored the drama on the final tour.
