For next season, his is looking for a fresh challenge and is focusing particularly on sportscars, with negotiations continuing into which championship the team will be involved with.

"The decision that has been made is obviously a really, really tough one to make. I lived my personal dream of racing in the BTCC and I have no regrets. I would like to thank all the members of the team, the sponsors and all the supporters that have helped me develop throughout the season. Sibsport as a team will continue and I'm looking forward to my next challenge." says Blanckley.
