Thomas Erdos was on winning form again yesterday for Round 9 of the 2002 British GT Championship at Oulton Park in Cheshire.

It was, however, an unusual race by any standards. A rainstorm of Biblical proportions brought the first part to an abrupt halt after just five recorded laps. A total of seven cars were involved in serious accidents, including two of the Graham Nash Motorsport's Saleen S7-R racecars. None would make the restart.

It was an hour and a half before racing resumed, with Thomas Erdos and co-driver Ian McKellar Jnr going on to win the race comfortably on aggregate. A brief race report is attached in Word format, while a more detailed report will appear on the official Thomas Erdos website (www.thomaserdos.com) later today. An image from the race is also attached.
