NEWS FROM THE AUTO TRADER RAC TOURING CAR CHAMPIONSHIP, 9/4/97 Auto Trader extends BTCC sponsorship TOCA Limited, organiser of the RAC British Touring Car Championship, is delighted to announce that Auto Trader has renewed its sponsorship of Britain's top motor sport series until the millennium. After five successful years, which has seen the Auto Trader Championship establish itself not only as one of this country's premier sporting attractions with extensive television coverage on BBC Grandstand but also as the world's most prestigious touring car title, a new three-year agreement has been signed by both parties. Auto Trader's on-going association is confirmed for 1998 and '99 with an option for 2000. Alan Gow, chief executive of TOCA Limited, is delighted by Auto Trader's continuing commitment: ''I'm very proud of our relationship with Auto Trader.
