Reid says yes to new engine
Anthony Reid has given the thumbs up to the new Ford engine in his Mondeo for this year after testing it last week. The engine is based on a unit originally by Mazda.
Morris pulls out of BTCC
Paul Morris will not be driving for Team Dynamics after all this season. The team has had problems with engine supplies, and have decided to fall back to a singleton entry.
Volvo decides on 2nd driver
Volvo has chosen Vincent Radermecker as partner to Rickard Rydell in the BTCC this season. This leaves Tim Harvey and Jan Nilsson without drives in the BTCC this year.
Spence enters independents cup
Russell Spence has entered the BTCC Independents Cup for this season with a Renault Laguna run by Arena Motorsport. Arena Motorsport is run by ex-Onyx boss Mike Earle.
