SIXTH PLACE AT PORTIMAO CONDITIONED BY SAFETY CAR

Another placement into points for Matteo Bobbi in FIA GT at Algarve, in a race conditioned in the result by the safety car deployment.

The Milanese driver and his crew-mate Alessandro Pier Guidi, concluded in sixth place after keeping the second position. Decisive was the race neutralization happened when several teams had already done the second driver change, which penalized the Maserati. In race, the ex-world champion, offered a strong performance that together with that of his mate could have been worth a victory.

Matteo Bobbi: "It has been a peculiar race. The safety car was deployed in a delicate phase and ended up shuffling things around in an unexpected and unfavorable way; despite this, it was positive to be competitive even with the 70kg handicap weight on board".

Next round of the FIA GT is scheduled for 4 October at Paul Ricard.
