Friedersdorf/Le Castellet (rol/ot) Temperatures of more than 35 degrees Celsius has been a problem for the cars of the German Team ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport at the fourth season event of the FIA GT1 World Championship this weekend (3rd/4th of July) at the Paul Ricard race track at Le Castellet (southern France). Instead of connecting to the performance from Czech Brno, the driver's of the two Lamborghini Murcielago LP670 RS-V of the racing stable from Firedersdorf (Saxony) had to deal with tyre problems and missed out on the ranking in points at the season races 7 and 8.

"At these high temperatures the Lamborghini is in disadvantage because of his high balance point. That's not our weather. And on the Paul Ricard track the abrasion of the tyres is very high anyway", explains team manager Marc Basseng, which finished on position 17 at the Championship Race on Sunday together with Christophe Bouchut(France) in the car with starting number 37. Five positions ahead there have been their team colleagues Dominik Schwager (Munich) and Nicky Pastorelli (Netherlands/Italy) in the Lamborghini number 38. The day before at the Qualifying Race the Muennich race cars have been on positions 15 (#38) and 16 (#37).

"Of course this is not what we aimed for", tells Marc Basseng. "Besides that we had problems at the pit stop this time showing not such a great performance this weekend." All started promising at the qualifying where Bouchut/Basseng have been on position six just one position ahead to Schwager/Pastorelli. But the racing team from Saxony didn't reach these positions this weekend anymore. "Now we want to gather some points again at the next season event end of July at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) ", Marc Basseng told gladiatorial.
