The German track of Oschersleben will be hosting the ninth round of the FIA GT championship this weekend. But this time around Matteo Bobbi will also be a protagonist outside of the track.

In Fact; Matteo will be competing along with other FIA GT and ETCC drivers in football game against the ex -football legends of Germany. The game will take place on Thursday, September 16th.

However, on Friday morning, Matteo will leave his football shoes and socks behind and will wear his helmet and tracksuit again for the first free practice session on the German track. Oschersleben is a relatively short track (3667 m) but technically demanding. There are no long straights and it has many tight and twisting corners that make it very physically challenging for the drivers

"In Imola two weeks ago, Scuderia Italia reached an extremely important goal: the team's title victory. For this reason, the atmosphere in Germany is very relaxed. Now we have to see who will win the driver's championship title: Gollin and Cappellari have without a doubt the upper hand but my team mate Gabriele Gardel and I will fight as long as we mathematically have hope.Last year, I won a great race together with Thomas Biagi on this track and I hope to do the same here again this year .

But tonight we won't be talking about motor sports but of football. I can't wait to have some fun with the ex-German football champions."
