In 2011 again on track at the world championships

Friedersdorf/Navarra (rol/ot) The German Team ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport from Friedersdorf claims a clear goal for the last three events of the FIA GT1 World Championship: "We want to be on the podium", Rene Munnich, team principal and owner of the racing stable from Saxony and his team manager Marc Basseng together with the whole crew agreed. "To start off with that at Spain already would be the best thing to reach that goal", tells Marc Basseng (Neusalza-Spremberg) that is a driver of this team as well and is sharing the cockpit of the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670 RS-V (starting number 37) with the French Christophe Bouchut. Behind the wheel of the sister car with starting number 38 there will be Nicky Pastorelli (Netherlands/Italy) and Dominik Schwager (Munich) as usual coming weekend (23rd/24th of October) on the new race track at Navarra.

"The podium is where we belong at with our speed. That is what the last races already proofed", underlines Marc Basseng. Especially the car #38 with Dominik Schwager and Nicki Pastorelli is competitive since a few races like some top three results showed at the qualifying. "But since now there never was everything put together well", tells the team manager. And on top of that there was the fact that they started from promising positions into the race but then they perceived the hard manner of driving of the competitors. "With that the work of a whole racing weekend was gone. Following this we had to prepare for the races and were fixing the damaged cars instead of working on the performance", explains Basseng. "I honestly didn't expect that the duel at the GT1 World is that distinct. The manner of driving has been the topic at the drivers conference very often but since now there has been no change yet." The cars are very reliable altogether thinks the team manager but there is the little bit of luck still missing to complete the racing weekend successful from the beginning to the end.

"Nicky and Dominik are a driver team that you wish for as a team principal. Calm, constant and fast. Christophe and Marc are driving together for the next three races without interruption and they know how to rank the strength of the other one and they know which way they want to go", tells team principal Rene Munnich.

Altogether the team is very satisfied with the development. "We made big progress since the first race until now. I never thought we would find the speed that fast to be competitive", explains Marc Basseng. "Then again I never thought it would be that hard to build a team that effective that they can react to any situation appropriately. We are on the right track but still need every race to learn more", knows the team manager.

Because of that the racing stable from Saxony is already planning for next year. "ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport will be on track at the GT1 World Championship again in 2011", announced team principal Rene Munnich. "We are building on Stephan Ratel that he can upgrade the marketing and make the series more interesting for the registered teams. Furthermore we are interested in building our own cars, because the regulations of the GT1 and GT3 allow that. We project different opportunities and will make our decision in time", announces Rene Munnich.
