Italian racing weekend for the FIA GT world championship at Mugello where the seventh round of the season is scheduled. Matteo Bobbi, the current leader of the classification with 51 points, will carry 78kg ballast on board his Ferrari F430. This is a very important handicap weight, especially in a particularly demanding circuit like the tuscan one.

The FIA GT programme of the weekend will see the first free practice session on Friday at 14.30, while the second one will be held on Saturday at 9.40. The official qualifying session is scheduled for Saturday at 15.30 while the warm up of Sunday at 8.45 will be followed by the awaited race start at 13.30.

Matteo Bobbi
"I think it'll be hard for us at Mugello! We are on the top of the classification thanks to the results we achieved so far, but the drawback is the a very important ballast we will have on board. As done in the latest races, we need to work on a good setup to be competitive and to get as many points as possible. We have a tiny advantage on our nearest opponents and we will do our best to keep it till the end of the championship".
