Friedersdorf/Nürburgring (rol/ot) Now there will be two very important weekends for the German Team ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport from Friedersdorf at the FIA GT1 World Championship. The fight about the championship titles at the drivers ranking as well as the team ranking starts this weekend (21st to 23rd of September) with the home race on the Nürburgring. And already one weekend later (29th/30th of September) there will be the final event of the season on the track in the Donington Park (England). It will have its GT1-World debut and replaces the planned last season event in India that was scheduled for the end of November or the beginning of December.

"Our goal is set: We want to get both titles. Now it is necessary to get maximum results with both cars. Points, points, points – this is our device“, René Münnich said, who is the founder, owner and team principal of the racing stable from Saxony. "The Nürburgring should fit our Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 very well. We hope to extract our advantage at the team championship. And it would be very important for Marc and Markus to take the lead at the drivers ranking.“

Marc Basseng (Neusalza-Spremberg) and Markus Winkelhock (Berglen-Steinach) in the Münnich Mercedes with starting number 38 are only 6 points behind the leading BMW duo Michael Bartels (Germany) and Yelmer Buurman (Netherlands) after the races in Moscow at the beginning of September. And at the team ranking, ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport kept the lead with 34 points in advance ahead the BMW-Team Vita4one Racing before the eights season event with the races 15 and 16. "Our task for the home race is now the same as in Moscow, to get more points than the competition of BMW“, Marc Basseng said, who is the team manager of Münnich Motorsport same time.

Basseng and Winkelhock will come back to the location of one of their greatest success highly motivated. The duo has won the 24 hour race on the Nürburgring this year. And they know this track with its changing weather conditions in the Eifel from numerous appearances in other series. "Of course, this is an extra motivation to get the best possible results on this very beautiful track. We will give everything we can to get on the top of the podium“, Basseng said fierce.

Nicky Pastorelli (Italy/Netherlands) and Thomas Jäger (Munich) in the Münnich Mercedes with starting number 37 also still have chances to climb up in the ranking during this championship; they are on position five at the moment. The gap to position three at the ranking is 24 points. "If everything works out quite well, Thomas and Nicky can still reach this position“, team manager Basseng believes. „Our whole team is highly motivated and well prepared for the Nürburgring. We want to set the cornerstone for the championship titles here.“
