Piccini satisfied with two-day test session in Digione.

For the upcoming start of the season on the Barcelona race track , Andrea Piccini spent the last two days at the wheel of the Lister Storm GT on the French race track in Digione, for two important days of tests.

The shakedown of the car was on Monday March 31st and April 1st was instead dedicated to running some laps in succession to permit Andrea to gain total confidence with the car.

"On the first day of tests we concentrated on fine tuning the car in detail and thus the day was spent doing a sequence of in and outs. Instead on Tuesday, we ran some laps without stopping. This gave me the chance to get to know the car and its behaviour better.

"I found the perfect driving position and I'm getting used to driving on the right hand side. We didn't calculate the times due to the traffic on the race track and to avoid damaging the car. To me, the Lister seems to be more rigid than the Ferrari I drove last year. Of course, we have to bear in mind that the cars have to a different set up.

"Both my team mate Deletraz and I, believe that the race in Barcelona will allow us to gain experience with the Lister and represents a useful opportunity to confront our adversaries."
