RUBERTI BACK ON THE PODIUM AT BUDAPEST

After a negative series lasting three races, trend inversion for Paolo Ruberti at Budapest whereby he collected the first podium of the season.

In qualifying, the Veronese driver set the fourth fastest lap time, laying the foundations a positive results in the race. Ruberti drove at good levels in the first and third stint holding the first position in the initial stages of the race too. A problem during the first pit stop and an excessive tyre wear pushed the crew of the number 77 F430 GT2 Ferrari away from the fight for the victory but the podium has been definitely received as a positive result.

Paolo Ruberti:
"Eventually we scored a podium after a steep first part of the season. We have been at the lead for some laps but the victory would have been unlikely despite the small problems we had; I think we will do as well in the last three races and improve a classification eager for points".

Next round of the FIA GT championship is scheduled for 20 September at Algarve, Portugal. [IMAGE]
