After having revealed the identity of the first pair of drivers that will take part in the FIA GT3 European Championship (Frederic Makowiecki and Manu Rodrigues with the Aston Martin DBRS9 #1), HEXIS AMR announces the name of their third GT3 driver: Thomas Accary. The young man, twice Vice Champion and faithful to the stable for the third consecutive season, will drive the Aston Martin DBRS9 #2.

Philippe Dumas, Team Manager, goes back over the signature with this dazzling-ascent driver: "Our goal is to do a programme in continuity with a genuine will to see Thomas run in one of our GT1s in the World Championship next year. I believe in him for this adventure as I did by trusting him in early 2008 for his first experience in GT while he was getting through a phase of doubts." Thomas' team mate has not been validated yet, and so HEXIS AMR are looking for a competitive driver; Bronze-rated by the FIA, since Thomas becomes Gold driver.

Before handing over to Thomas Accary, let's go back to his record:

Can you go back over the 2009 season?

2009 proved to be a very constructive year, for me as well as for the team (HEXIS Racing AMR). It brought me a little more experience and I'm very satisfied with the results we got (in 2009, for the first time, HEXIS Racing AMR won the title of FIA GT3 European Team Champion). I'm glad I could realize the goals of 2008, by climbing up the final step of the podium, as we then were European Vice Champions.

What are your objectives for 2010?

Victory! And this time, a complete victory by winning both the Teams and Drivers titles with HEXIS AMR. I hope I will get even more experience and that I'll learn new things thanks to HEXIS AMR's involvement in the FIA GT1 World Championship, notably via their GT1 drivers (Jean-Denis Deletraz, Frederic Makowiecki, Clivio Piccione and Jonathan Hirschi).

What qualities would you like your future team mate to have?

Above all constancy, team work and performance of course! His record doesn't matter...

Any closing words?

I want to thank Euro-Negoce (retailer in electrical equipment) who has been following me for six years, and Peter Tanisman (Swiss watchmaker). At last, a big thank-you to my father, HEXIS AMR and the energy drink Kalaschnikow.
