Martini Callaway Racing left the paddock in disappointment at Silverstone, after a positive first half of the race from both cars. Yesterday's second place (inherited due to the penalty imposed to the Ferrari of Daudi) was not followed by a successful Sunday. The 16 car, superbly driven by Klaus Ludwig, recovered up to sixth place before being forced to retire due to a suspension damage.

Juergen Von Gartzen, on the number 17 Z06, made himself a great job by reaching third spot, before fading away with technical issues. Surely frustrated by the unfortunate weekend, even if it started with great ambitions, Martini Callaway Racing's crew heads toward Bucharest sure of a good potential.

Luca Pirri: "Before the driver change we were running in third, and I think I would have probably finished 2nd in the worst case. The car then broke down, so I eventually didn't turn a lap... I've no words to express my frustration".
