Lots of worries for Lacko and Vojtech at Nogaro

Seventeenth place in finish, that is the result which the crew of Corvette Z06R GT3, Adam Lacko, Stepan Vojtech, did not expect at all. However, this is the reality of their race at Nogaro. For the couple the penultimate weekend of European FIA GT3 Championship brought a line of technical problems. The MM Racing Team pilots did twenty-sixth time in qualifying (Stepan for today) and twenty-third place (Adam for tomorrow). In today's race they finished in seventeenth, respectivelly fifth in the Corvette standing.

Adam Lacko: "It'd be better to forget this day. Our car wasn't working properly during the race. I guess I haven't driven such a troublesome car in my career. Due to technical problems in free practises and to the failure of a differential in second qualifying there was no chance to prepare our Corvette for today's race. The car didn't go alright on the track, didn't turn at all, the wheels were spinning almost all the time..Well, the race wasn't good in any way. Stepan got after the start from twenty-sixth position to eighteenth, unfortunately I had no chance to get any further when we switched. I hope the car will be in better condition tomorrow."

Stepan Vojtech: "We are struggling a little bit at Nogaro. The first free practise was spoilt by weather. It was raining quite a lot, and when it stopped, the car behaved more like a rally car on the drying track than a circuit car. The surface here is somehow odd in such conditions. In second practise the cooling system was broken, so the preparation for qualifying wasn't worth much. I did twenty-sixth time in the first fight, in the second one Adam was three positions better. When he was driving in his qualifying, the diferential was damaged. So our mechanics were very busy before the start today. They repaired all, but the car wasn't set properly. I was the first one to drive and in the middle of the race I passed the car being on the eighteenth position."
