Damax set for Paul Ricard testing

British FIA GT3 challengers Damax are preparing their Ascari KZ1 for their next big test session in the first official FIA GT test of the year in Paul Ricard, France on March 7 & 8.

The team have been developing the Ascari and are excited about the test. Team boss Robin Ward, "We have completed a lot of work over the past few weeks, there are a number of jobs to do meet the FIA requirements and so that has been as much a part of the development programme as improving the car and making it faster. With the work we have put in we are confident that we have made a big step forward and we are looking forward to going head to head with the other teams we will be competing with this season."

The car will be handled by Nick Adams and Aaron Scott and the team is in discussions with a number of interested drivers to fill the remaining seats in what is sure to be one of the most exciting cars in this seasons FIA GT3 European Championship.

Aaron Scott said, "I am really looking forward to the season ahead, everyone in the team is very motivated and have been working really hard. We are under no illusions of the challenges that lie ahead but I believe we are going to have some excellent results the season. I am very much looking forward to the test at Paul Ricard."
