Lacko and Vojtech can not wait their Brno

Adam Lacko and Stepan Vojtech are ready to race on the home ground after sucessful starts in the German ADAC GT Masters. They are going to debut in the FIA GT3 championship this weekend. It is going to be a unique moment especially for Stepan who has not raced at Brno since 2000 when he decided to switch from circuits to rallies. The pair is sharing a Corvette Z06R of the MM Racing team. The newly built car was raced for the first time at Lausitzring last weekend.

The crew got there the price for the best Corvette and once finished fifth. Lausitz was their second best race in the ADAC GT Masters after their third place in their debut at Assen. Both drivers like Brno track and they are also looking forward to race in the FIA GT3 championship. They are going to race in the championship for the rest of the season which offers also a race in exotic Dubai.

Adam Lacko: "I am really looking forward to Brno. It is going to be my first race there this year and also in front of home fans. It is good that we started to race the new Corvette az Lausitzring. Every new car has to settle a bit and we used the German races for this. The car should be okay at Brno and we will try to get the best possible result. We have not raced in the FIA GT3 yet but I still think that with a bit of luck we can fight for a podium finish. However, the competition is very tough, so let's wait and see."

Stepan Vojtech: "I am happy that during my return year to the circuit racing can race on a track that I know very well. I will not have to think about lines and other details. My last race at Brno was in 2000 in Ceska Pojistovna Skoda Octavia Cup and I have also some older memories. As a small boy I was on the grid in 1987, when the track was opened, to see racing ma father Zdenek in the world touring car championship. I also remember Spring Prix in 1995. I was 18 years old and won the qualifying of the Peugeot Cup and I was young, hot headed racer and did some mistakes in the race and did not win. I hope to do better this weekend and that together with Adam will get good result."
