JMB Racing Debuts New Ferrari 575 Maranello GTC

Miami, FL. JMB Racing USA's sister team, JMB Racing of France, is unveiling the all new Ferrari 575 Maranello this weekend at Round 9 of the FIA GT Championship at Estoril, Portugal.

After four consecutive World Championship titles from 1997-2001, JMB Racing was chosen by Ferrari to exclusively develop the new Ferrari 575 Maranello, which will be available to customers next year. For now, JMB has entered two of the new 575 GTCs for the final two rounds of the FIA GT Championship at Estoril and Monza.

JMB Racing USA's Managing Director, Benjamin Durand acknowledged, "It's really exciting for us to unveil this beautiful new Maranello this weekend. The team is still sorting out all of the fine details, however the car has a lot of potential and we are really looking forward to next year."

JMB Racing won three World Sportscar titles with the legendary Ferrari 333SP in 1998, 1999 and 2000, and was then chosen to exclusively develop the 360 Modena GT. In 2001, the team promptly captured the FIA GT Championship in the NGT category with the 360 Modena GT in it's first year of competition. The team definitely has the experience and know-how to test and develop this car into a championship contender.

"Look for the new 575 GTC to be a strong force in the near future. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but there is quite a possibility of JMB Racing USA campaigning a new Ferrari 575 Maranello in the American Le Mans Series next year", Durand concluded.

Until then, the new 575 GTC can be seen at Estoril this weekend, and at the final round of the FIA GT Championship at Monza, Italy on October 18th.
