Andrea Piccini is looking for redemption in Brno.

Technical problems encountered in Pergusa haven't discouraged Andrea Piccini and Lister Cars Ltd that have worked to prepare for the race in the Czech Republic this weekend. In particular, they have replaced the engine which has been run in and is ready to debut in Brno. They have also worked on the car to fix some inconveniences that have penalized the Piccini- Deletraz duo in Pergusa. The race track in Brno is 5.403 m long and is situated 200 km away from Prague. The first race took place in 1930 on a street track of 30 km. The track has since been reduced and the new permanent circuit was opened in 1987.

"I know this track very well. My debut in Brno was last year where I not only competed along side my team-mate Deletraz but with Tomas Enge as well. On his home track,Tomas competed in the qualifications and in 1/3rd of the race that ended with the car stalling. Unfortunately this inconvenience did not give me the chance to compete. Brno is a very technical, fast, rhythmical track with continuous changes of direction.

"We will face this track with a new engine which we hope will not create any problems but instead will give us the drive we need to fight for the first few positions. The Ferraris last year did really well and they are seen as the favourites. However we aren't giving up and we hope to prove them wrong."
